Down Time

What a nice relaxing week it's been. J decided not to go to Crossroads Classic last week so mom could breathe a little easier...... So in place of all that excitement we have just decided to chill. Not to be mistaken for being lazy. No races but still plenty of riding. Found this little cutie on my way back from lunch just riding his heart out.

Of course I even joined in one "slow, easy, ride" day... I was pretty proud of myself the guys made me climb some crazy hills but I hung right in there for a girl.

The most exciting news of all this week is, we have a new member of the family as of yesterday. Yep a new bicycle! Cyclo-cross (CX) is coming up and J needed new wheels so he has worked and saved his money all summer long for a new bike. Those of you who do not know J like I do, this kid babies his bicycles and when I say baby I mean he sleeps surrounded by them and he cleans them every time they leave the house (which is a few times a day). Cyclo-cross (CX) is by far the fave around the house. It's pure fun to watch and J obviously thinks its pure fun to race so everyone's happy!

He can't wait to get this beauty nice and muddy!!
